Snap. Crackle. Pop.

This is another SUPER easy dinner, one that kids will DEFINITELY approve of. Using an old favorite cereal of mine.

Yup.

RICE KRISPIES.

Did you know there's other things you can do with them without making rice krispie treats?!
Yeah. CHICKEN.

And yes, it pairs GREAT with mac 'n' cheese.

Snap Crackle Pop Rice Krispie Chicken

3-4 chicken breasts (I used 3 LARGE breasts, then cut them in half, but the number will change based on how many people you're feeding)
Rice Krispies (again, amount will vary on how much you're making)
1+ stick of butter, melted (add more if you need more)
seasoning of your choice.

Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Throw your rice krispies in a ziplock bag and use a rolling pin to crush 'em pretty good. Leave some chunks though. And don't forget to try and get the air out as best as possible from the bag before doing this. Forget this step and you'll have one big rice krispie bomb.
I only had sandwich bags on hand, so I did it little by little and then poured them into a bowl.

To your melted butter, add the seasonings you want. I used garlic powder, salt, pepper, seasoning salt, italian seasoning, and threw in a couple dashes of hot sauce for flavor, not spice.

Trim the fat off your chicken as best as possible.

Dip your chicken into the seasoned, melted butter.

Then coat 'em in the cereal.

Get a nice, even coat.

Cover your baking pan with aluminum foil and grease it a bit. Like, a quick spray of some nonstick stuff. I didn't, and had to fight the chicken off.

Bake it for about 45 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked.

Aaaaaaand SERVE.

It doesn't get much easier than this, people. And let the kids do the crushing of the cereal. They'll love you forever.
